Coming home to dinner parties with family or friends, working, doing what I love (ballet, reading, exploring, baking, writing, listening to music, filming, learning, traveling, volunteering, creating, etc.), and being by the ocean

What do you value most in your friends?
Loyalty, a sense of humor, and ambition

Which Living Person do you most admire?
My mom is the strongest, smartest, most beautiful, kind person I know and I wouldn’t be who I am today without her. I also admire two third graders I tutor, a little boy who taught me to speak up for what I believe in regardless of consequences, and a little girl with Down Syndrome who, removing the lens of expectation and prejudice, opened my eyes to new layers of courage and dignity.

What is your most treasured possession?

Photographs, my poetry and artwork, and a necklace given to me by my mom that I haven’t taken off in three years

What do you do to make you smile?

Throw parties, write, read, explore the city listening to podcasts, listen to music, dance, kickbox, volunteer, run, try new things

What do you do that keeps you healthy and fit?
I try to eat organic, natural foods and be active! I stay away from red meat, dairy, and gluten for the most part, and I love cooking, so I am always in the kitchen trying new ideas and recipes. I keep lots of wholesome snacks and juices on hand for when I’m busy and don’t have time to cook. For exercise, I’m a bit of a tomboy so I’ve always loved going outside to run, bike, swim, and hike but I also like to stay active with ballet, boxing, Pilates, and yoga.

Describe what you eat in a day?
It changes all the time, just about the only thing that’s constant is the 2L of water I drink every day (warm with with lemon in the morning). I’ll become obsessed with a certain food and eat it all the time, then a couple weeks later move on to something new. Right now I’m loving Jessica Alba’s turkey meatballs, Phoebe’s friend Mahaley’s gluten-free banana muffins (recipe on the site!), Edamame, and sweet potato bites I make with cumin, coriander, cayenne, curry, and chili powder.

Do you have any natural beauty tips?
Coconut oil is the best- I use it on my hair and skin. I use a natural rose water spray on my face every morning and drink lots and lots of water. I love the Kora Organics skincare line. I also will do homemade facial every once in a while with raw honey, fresh lemon juice, and Fage yogurt; it creates the most glowing complexion.

My education and travels
